Reunion
A good 65 years ago these four men stood in line, each behind the other, unnoticing the other, not aware what the next minute would hold for them. The four Menachem Sholowicz, Anshel Sieradzki, Shaul Zawadzki and brother Yaakov were the four men standing in the Auschwitz camp, while the cruel (gross understatement) Dr.Josef Mengele decided who could live and who couldn’t. The men have since then made a life for themselves in Israel, but the Holocaust was never far from their mind-the intense pain still embedded within them. But life does throw surprises-the men who didn’t notice each other when they stood inches away from each other have through stories related on the internet, now have touched a new bonding, talking to each other on a daily basis and even meeting each other-save Yaakov- this many years later to share their well-deserved freedom and also the trials and tribulations they went through.
